Karsten leads Innovation at Allurity. As cryptographer and security researcher, Karsten is known for exposing vulnerabilities in mobile communications, payment systems, and embedded security.
Karsten gained prominence for demonstrating major security flaws in GSM, SIM cards, mobile banking, and the SS7 protocol underlying cellular networks.
As a leading voice in information security, Karsten presented at major conferences including Black Hat and CCC. His work helps drive security evolution at clients globally. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from UVa.
