Hans Neff

Speaker Bio

Hans Neff is Senior Director within the CTO Group at ZTE and serves as Deputy CTO for the European & American Regions. He brings more than 30 years of experience in telecommunications and IT, having worked as a consultant and system integrator for both operators and vendors across end-to-end network domains.

Throughout his career, he has led and contributed to numerous Tier-1 projects worldwide, supported by a broad, multi-vendor technical background and international education. This foundation led to his joining ZTE in 2014. Since 2016, he has reported directly to the ZTE Board, became a member of the CTO Group in 2017, and has served as Senior Director of the CTO Group since 2018.

In his current role, Hans focuses on strategic technology evolution, intelligent network innovation, and the practical application of AI-native, autonomous, and energy-efficient architectures. He continues to deepen his expertise through direct involvement in global customer engagements and real-world project implementations, with a strong emphasis on translating innovation into measurable business and operational value.
