Marta Tolós is Executive Director at AstraZeneca, leading the Enterprise AI Services and Platforms department, managing a multicultural team across the UK, Sweden, Spain, Mexico, and India to drive global AI development and deployment.
Her focus is on accelerating enterprise-wide data science by implementing scalable AI solutions such as natural language processing, mathematical optimization, computer vision, generative and agentic AI. She holds master degrees in telecommunications, energy engineering, computer science with focus on artificial intelligence, and an MBA. Marta’s experience spans roles at leading organizations including IBM, SONY Research Lab, Robert BOSCH, Telefonica R&D, and Zurich Insurance, where she specialized in AI, data science, and engineering leadership.
In addition to her corporate achievements, she has contributed to multiple publications and patents and collaborates in academia as an adjunct professor at the UPC and EAE Business School.
