Richard Cane

Speaker Bio

Richard Cane is the EVP and President, International, for SBA Communications, a leading independent owner and operator of wireless infrastructure, and is a 40-year veteran of the telecommunications industry.  Mr. Cane is responsible for all SBA's tower businesses outside the United States, including operations in Central America, South America, and Africa.  Prior to joining SBA, Mr. Cane held a variety of senior positions at telecommunications operators and equipment manufacturers, including Vice President of North American Field Services and Chief Operating Officer of Sprint Managed Services for Ericsson, Vice President of Sprint Account Management for Motorola/Nokia Siemens Networks, Chief Operating Officer for Woosh Wireless in New Zealand, Chief Operating Officer for PrimeCo Chicago, and Chief Technical Officer for Grupo Iusacell in Mexico.  Mr. Cane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology.
