Nevash Pillay

Speaker Bio

Nevash Pillay is a global technology and telecom leader with over 20 years of experience driving transformation across the communications industry, including more than 16 years in senior executive roles. She is currently Global Head of the Communications Industry at Databricks, where she partners with leading operators worldwide to turn data and AI into measurable business outcomes—spanning customer experience, network optimization, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.

Nevash began her career at Telstra as a graduate and progressed rapidly into senior leadership roles across its Consumer, Enterprise, Government, Network Operations, and Service Delivery businesses. She led large-scale network and cloud transformations, overseeing teams of more than 500 specialists across managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, and network sales. She also scaled Telstra’s global partner ecosystem to $1.5B, forging strategic alliances with Microsoft, AWS, and Cisco.

Prior to joining Databricks, Nevash served as Vice President, Global Telecommunications & Media at UiPath, partnering with more than 200 telecom operators globally to implement intelligent automation at scale.

A passionate advocate for inclusive leadership, Nevash actively champions diversity, equity, and the next generation of women leaders in technology. She holds an Executive MBA from the University of Sydney, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and Harvard Business School.
