Speaker Bio

Hieu Le is the Chief Information Officer of Viettel Networks, a key subsidiary of Viettel Group in Vietnam. He also serves as Vice President of the Vietnam Free and Open Source Software Association (VFOSSA), an organization dedicated to advancing open-source adoption nationwide. In 2013, he founded the Vietnam OpenStack User Group (now the Vietnam OpenInfra User Group) and established the first OpenStack engineering team in the country. He led the development of Viettel’s—and Vietnam’s—first OpenStack-based private cloud, and later contributed to national-level initiatives and regulatory efforts aimed at promoting OpenStack and open-source technologies across Vietnam around 2018.
