David Tomas is the co-founder and CEO of Cyberclick, a tech company specialising in AI for digital marketing and one of top Hubspot partners. With over 25 years’ experience in digital marketing and advertising, David is also an entrepreneur and business angel in more than 100 startups, with 14 exits — including Deporvillage, Meller Brand, Glovo, Captio, Trip4real, Habitissimo and Mailtrack. He also served as a board member at Deporvillage for 10 years, up to the company’s exit.
Originally trained as an engineer, he later broadened his management education through programmes at MIT Enterprise Forum, Stanford and London Business School. He teaches strategy and digital marketing, is Vice President of Ecommerce at Adigital, and sits on the Communication, Social Media and ICT Commission of the Spanish Olympic Committee.
A true early mover, David was among the first to introduce the concept of inbound marketing in Spain. In 2012, IESE and Global Entrepreneurship Week recognised him as one of the country’s most influential entrepreneurs under 40. In 2024, Emprendedores magazine named him among the 100 most relevant entrepreneurs of the year. Throughout his career, David has spoken in Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Dubai, the UK, the United States and Colombia, and has delivered training for companies such as AON, Chubb, HP, PepsiCo, IKEA and Telefónica, among others.
Driven by his mission to build “the happiest company in the world”, David champions an open, flat and transparent culture at Cyberclick. The company has been recognised for two consecutive years as the best company to work for in Spain by Great Place to Work. In 2019, in recognition of his commitment to workplace wellbeing, he was appointed Spain’s first Chief Happiness Officer by the World Happiness Officers Association.
