Gao Tongqing, Executive Vice President, member of the Party Leadership Group, Chief Legal Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of China Mobile Communications Group Co.,Ltd.. Mr. Gao also serves as Co-chairman of GTI, member of the GSMA Board, Vice President of the Council of China Institute of Communications, Vice President of the Council of Expert Committee for Information and Communication Economy of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the head of China Mobile Technology Advisory Committee. He is a holder of doctorate degree in business administration, expert with special allowance from the State Council, Professor-level Senior Engineer, winner of National May 1 Labor Medal and deputy to the 10th National People's Congress.
Formerly served as the Deputy Director General of Posts and Telecommunications Administration of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Chairman and General Manager of both Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Jiangsu Province Telecom Company, Executive Vice President and member of the Party Leadership Group of China Telecommunications Corporation, and Executive Director, member of the Party Leadership Group and Executive Vice President of China Telecommunications Corporation limited, Mr. Gao has extensive experience and achievements in sci-tech innovation, information technology, international operations, equity investment and policies and regulations.
