Speaker Bio
Jaroslav Holiš is currently working as a Senior Manager in Group Technology at Deutsche Telekom. He completed his Ph.D. in Radio Network Engineering. He joined Deutsche Telekom shortly after graduating and worked on LTE, LTE-A and pre-5G network development. His specialization is in Radio Access Network, especially in antenna techniques, interference coordination, proof of concepts and field trials. He is currently working on 5G networks evolution towards 6G “3D” networks and also driving DT internal HAPS research program with a focus on flight trials, capacity modelling and coexistence studies. He also currently serves as the HAPS Alliance Telecommunications Working Group Chair.
