Session Description
Data sovereignty is shifting from compliance checkbox to possible strategic reward, with enterprises and governments designing ecosystems that aim to keep sensitive data local while enabling AI innovation across borders. Nearly 144 countries now have data-protection and privacy laws in force, requiring more elaborate cross-border data flows and compliance policies. At the same time, the global sovereign-cloud market is expanding rapidly, with an estimated value somewhere between USD 117–154 billion in 2025, with forecasts projecting significant future growth.
This session examines the practical partnership models where telcos provide controlled connectivity and edge platforms; governments create clear and consistent policy environments, and technology partners deliver interoperable, auditable AI services. Join us as we identify how sovereignty could unlock commercial value, with a pragmatic roadmap to balance control, innovation and cost.
