wavemobile is a small UK MNO with ambition to provide a flexible solution to coverage islands which prevent many rural areas from having mobile service. Using British produced radios from cellXica and our customised core network we can provide 2G, 4G, LTE-M and 5GSA solutions backhauled over alt-nets, fibre and Starlink. We built the network and technology we use from the ground-up and aim to simplify the process by which multiple operators can be served.
Our UK based RAN is a mixture of 4G+2G core based neutral host and private 5GSA. To date we have served over four million devices with voice and data services. We connect via MAP/DIAMETER and are in the process of completing our first SEPP interconnect.
