Cloud Signals is a Startup company based in Athens, Greece. A hightech firm developing new Innovative Space Technologies and solutions that meet and anticipate market demands. Cloud Signals was set up to leverage the experience of its founders in Satellite Communication technologies, in product conceptualization, development and market launch both within ESA and private sectors in the satellite industry.
The company is ESA BIC Greece Alumnus, developing a product that addresses the need of all-in-one solution as a service (NaaS) for solving the high-cost distant network coverage of 5G networks. The specific solution incorporating all necessary network elements needed to connect a 5G edge node to the core network via a satellite path fills a gap in the market and addresses the field of cooperation of the two different worlds of cellular and satellite operators. This is a challenge, but the satellite industry is ready for it and the decision to include satellite networks in 5G has already been taken.
