Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) is the Telecom R&D centre of the Government of India. Hailed as the progenitor of the Indigenous Telecom Revolution in the nation, C-DOT, with more than four decades of its relentless R&D efforts in the design, development and production of telecom technologies, has been in the technology forefront and has significantly contributed to the Indian Telecom Network’s Digitization.
C-DOT has been instrumental in the evolution of a Telecom Ecosystem based on its Technology Transfer model to facilitate manufacturers in the bulk production of high-quality Telecom products and solutions.
C-DOT’s R&D focus spans a wide array of Telecom technologies covering Optical Communication, Switching & Routing, Wireless Communication, Cybersecurity, Quantum Technologies, Network Management, 4G/5G/6G, AI/ML, M2M/IoT, Disaster Management, and other Telecom software applications.
