Azercosmos is the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, established in 2010 under a national space development program. It launched Azerspace-1 (2013), Azersky (2014), and Azerspace-2 (2018) satellites, strengthening telecommunications and Earth observation capabilities. In 2023, Azerbaijan adopted the Law “On Space Activities” and secured a geostationary orbital position at 46° East. Azercosmos is developing Azerspace-3 to replace Azerspace-1 and advancing the Azersky-2 Earth observation program. Celebrating 10 years in Africa in 2025, it now reaches 39 countries, covers 70% of the continent, and connects over 100 million households with broadcasting services. Azercosmos provides services such as Telecommunication, Earth Observation, GIS, Training and Consultancy and IoT.
