Research and Innovation Foundation

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) is the executive arm of Cyprus’s national Research and Innovation (R&I) policy and the national funding agency for research, technological development, and innovation. Aiming to create a dynamic and competitive ecosystem, strengthen international outreach, and facilitate internationalisation, RIF provides targeted R&I investments and funding instruments, as well as value-added services in knowledge transfer, capacity building, and innovation support for startups and the wider national R&I ecosystem. Our vision is to strengthen Cyprus’s research and innovation ecosystem, enhance international competitiveness, and contribute to sustainable economic and societal development.
