Tensor Medical is a spin-off from the University of Girona (UdG) and the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) in Barcelona, founded in 2020, that develops radiological imaging biomarkers for neurological diseases. The first solution focuses on Multiple Sclerosis (MS) with a software platform leveraging automated machine intelligence to help clinical experts improve MS patient care by reducing errors in visual reading of magnetic resonance images and offering sensitivity in detecting new lesions. This enables experts to evaluate therapeutic response and detect treatment failure early, advancing decision-making on medication changes.
