ATENEA is a Generative AI-powered voice assistant designed for elderly people, offering proactive care, emergency response, and autonomy—bridging the digital divide and reducing loneliness. No buttons— by a voice conversation everything is possible. Available as a tablet and smartwatch, ATENEA combines natural voice interaction with sensor-based alerts to support health, safety, and social needs. Integrated with healthcare and social services. The project was funded with €3,000,000 from Next Generation EU, managed by the Ministry of Social Rights and Inclusion of the Government of Catalonia. ATENEA is currently deployed to 500 users across Catalonia.
