Information
Phygital Bone (PHyB) is a novel biomimetic, parametric human bone surrogate that accurately replicates the microstructure of cortical and trabecular bone. It is adaptable to patient specific anatomy and pathological conditions, enabling precise customization. The platform supports efficient, scalable fabrication through advanced 3D printing, ensuring broad accessibility for research and clinical use. A fully biodegradable substrate is currently under development for both in vitro and in vivo applications. PHyB has demonstrated exceptional mechanical performance, reliability, and repeatability, supporting next generation digital health simulation, preclinical testing, and translational bone tissue engineering.
