Criboos is a digital health company developing medical devices for the prevention, screening, and monitoring of visual diseases, aiming to make early detection and follow-up accessible to the entire population. Visual impairment is a leading cause of disability worldwide and affects over 13% of the adult population in Spain. Despite effective treatments, the lack of early screening programs leads to delayed diagnoses and preventable vision loss. Existing solutions are often expensive, inflexible, and hospital-centered, limiting access in community settings. Criboos addresses this gap with a range of fully digital, portable, low-cost products based on simple hardware and artificial intelligence algorithms.
