Ministerial Programme 2027

The GSMA Ministerial Programme returns to MWC Barcelona from 1-3 March 2027, bringing together ministers, regulators, intergovernmental organisations and industry leaders to shape the future of digital policy and connectivity. For more than two decades, it has provided a unique platform for public and private sector leaders to exchange perspectives, strengthen partnerships and advance digital transformation worldwide. 

In 2027, discussions will focus on the choices shaping the next phase of connectivity, from the adoption and scaling of AI and the road to 6G ahead of WRC-27, to digital sovereignty, cyber resilience, investment and regulatory reform. The agenda will also explore how governments and industry can work together to accelerate digital inclusion and ensure the benefits of technology are shared more broadly across society.

Formal invitations to ministers, regulators and selected intergovernmental organisations will be issued in October 2026.

The GSMA Ministerial Programme at MWC Barcelona has grown in popularity and scope since its launch in 2006.

This exclusive event brings together industry CEOs, government ministers, telecom regulators, data protection authorities, and high-level representatives from international organisations worldwide – all gathering to share knowledge, stimulate debate around current issues, and provide an opportunity to engage with mobile industry experts on policy and regulatory topics.
