Jordi Salvador

Jordi Salvador has dedicated his entire professional career to the UAS industry. During the final years of his MSc in Aerospace Engineering, he worked on university R&D projects, designing new multirotor prototypes and a solar-powered fixed-wing aircraft. He later joined a PhD programme focused on developing advanced AI and Computer Vision algorithms for UAS, building strong expertise across the two core pillars of UAS technology: Aeronautics and Robotics.

 

In 2010 he joined CATUAV as a UAS engineer. He is part of the founding team of the BCN Drone Center, participating in the design and implementation of the Test Site facilities. He has participated in multiple projects, covering most of the UAS value chain and applications.

 

As CEO of BCN Drone Center, he focuses on delivering a comprehensive range of services to support the successful market deployment of UAS projects. His service portfolio spans R&D, testing, evaluation, and certification. With over 15 years of experience in the UAS sector, he helps stakeholders across the industry bring new applications and technologies to market effectively and efficiently.
