Speaker Bio

Mr. Mark Alexandre Doumba is Minister of Digital Economy, Digitalisation and Innovation of the Gabonese Republic.
An economist, entrepreneur and international investor, he represents a new generation of public leaders committed to the structural transformation of the State and the economy through digital technology and innovation.


He is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and George Washington University, with an academic background combining public governance, finance and development.
Before joining the Government, he built a career in private equity and technology entrepreneurship across Africa, the Middle East and Asia, notably serving as Director of Investments within the Private Office of Mohamed Alabbar (EMAAR).


Internationally recognised, he is a Young Global Leader 2025 of the World Economic Forum. Today, he leads Gabon’s national strategy to accelerate digital transformation, modernise public administration, and position the country as a competitive and inclusive digital hub in Central Africa.
