Joji Philip is Global Head of Industry GTM for the Communications vertical at Snowflake, focused on helping telecom operators and adjacent industries build the data and AI foundations required for intelligent, resilient infrastructure. He works at the intersection of strategy and execution—aligning C‑suite priorities with the technical reality of modernizing platforms, integrating cloud ecosystems, and turning complex operational data into trusted, actionable intelligence.
Joji brings 20+ years of experience across the telecom value chain. He began his career in wireless engineering and performance optimization, then progressed into product, consulting, and executive leadership roles spanning network analytics, customer experience, and cloud-native transformation. Prior to Snowflake, Joji spent nearly 8+ years at Ericsson in multiple leadership positions, including Director of AI/ML Products, where he drove AI-powered telecom innovation and service portfolio growth—helping shape and deliver programs that influenced multi-million$ business outcomes using AI-driven solutions for Tier‑1 operators and enterprises. His work has included AI-based RAN performance optimization, digital twin pilots, and multi-agent approaches to accelerate intent-driven network automation.
Earlier in his career, Joji helped pioneer Cloud RAN and Open RAN deployments, led global customer engagements, and co-developed a crowdsourced mobile network analytics platform used to improve network and customer experience outcomes. He is a contributor to patents in AI-driven RAN deployments and is known for translating hard-core engineering into clear business value—keeping jargon low while keeping outcomes measurable.
At MWC 2026, Joji represents Snowflake—sponsor of the Intelligent Infrastructure theme—as a panelist in an executive roundtable and a contributor to Keynote 1 pre‑ and post‑keynote analysis, sharing practical lessons on scaling AI with strong governance, trusted data, and real operational ROI.
