Speaker Bio
Dr. Helen Crompton is internationally recognized for her leadership in artificial intelligence in education and has been listed on Stanford’s Top 2% of Scientists in the World. In 2017, she led the development of the first course globally focused on preparing educators to use artificial intelligence with students, created for the International Society for Technology in Education. In 2019, she led the development of one of the United Nations’ earliest frameworks for artificial intelligence in education, working collaboratively with an international partner. She has since contributed to and supported multiple national and international AI frameworks and guidelines.
Dr. Crompton has published over 250 scholarly works and regularly advises governments, foundations, and multilateral organizations, including the United Nations and the World Bank, on responsible and effective technology integration in education.
