Session Description
GSMA and Global Health Connector will be running this invite-only event focused around the connected healthcare ecosystem.
Healthcare systems worldwide are entering a defining decade, one marked by accelerating demand, workforce constraints, rising costs, and increasing pressure to deliver better outcomes at scale. This comes on top of increased governmental budgetary pressures on healthcare systems. At the same time, advanced network connectivity, AI, sensing, and robotics technologies are finally reaching the maturity required to enable genuinely intelligent, adaptive healthcare environments that can help drive improvements in patient outcomes, and service access and efficiency.
This roundtable is a meeting focused on bringing together a select group of healthcare and telecommunications ecosystem players willing to co-create, validate, and scale the hospitals and care systems of the future - in real clinical environments, at operational scale, with global relevance.
In this session, we will hear some inspiring case studies, with a clear call to action. We will ask our members and ecosystem partners to identify and agree to work on a small number of projects, utilising advanced connectivity to solve some of the healthcare’s biggest challenges in a real-world setting. Together, we can deliver tangible benefit to the communities we all serve.
