Speaker Bio
Jack Yang has been involving in local photography for nearly ten years, and served as a lecturer, photographer, and director for various projects. He is committed to storytelling through historical documentaries that combine images with in-depth studies of the humanities and local history. Jack’s involvement in the local revitalization of Kaohsiung’s Zuoying District via the Old City Association, has lead to his engagement with local digitization activities through collaborating with schools in Zuoying. He hopes to integrate the history of Zuoying into local campuses via a bottom-up approach, preserving, disseminating, and building an appreciation for local culture.
