Since joining Alfa Bank Belarus, part of the international banking group Alfa Group, in 2016, Robert has been one of a few key employees creating and shaping Insync, a mobile platform within traditional retail bank. Alfa-Bank pioneered the `mobile first` digital transformation strategy in Belarus, with online services regarded not as merely an additional channel but as the heart of business model and the key channel for product sales.
Robert has led integrating into Alfa Bank’s core model the best practices in mobile payments, video-verification, document scanning and recognition, blockchain partner integration, online lending, digital transactions, open APIs. Responsible for Operations he has been at the heart of digital transformation of bank’s processes following belief that the customer buys a process as an integral part of a product.
Prior to that Robert has worked in various financial institutions in Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Hungary, covering various business functions as a board member with emphasis on retail banking.
He also sits on the Supervisory Board of Alfa Bank Kazakhstan.
Robert earned his MSc in electronic engineering from the Technical University of Budapest, Hungary.
