Nathalie is the Director of Privacy of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP’s Centre for Information Policy Leadership (CIPL), a preeminent global privacy and security policy think tank located in Washington, DC and London. Nathalie brings more than 20 years of experience in data protection policy both in-house and in private practice. In this role, Nathalie works on global public policy initiatives and develops and maintains relationships with relevant regulatory authorities and policy makers in Europe, among other projects.
Nathalie joined CIPL from Capgemini Group, a leader in consulting, digital technology and outsourcing, where she was Public Affairs and Group Data Protection Officer (DPO), a member of the Group Cybersecurity and Information Protection Steering Committee and responsible for managing the DPO network and defining Capgemini Group’s BCR and GDPR implementation strategy. She holds a post graduate degree in European Law from Robert Schuman University (Strasbourg, France) and an LL.M degree in American law from Duke University School of law (Durham, USA). She is admitted to the New York and Paris bars. She has experience in both France and in the US on data protection, IT and security matters, contracts, competition law, compliance issues and litigation. She sits on the IAPP European Advisory Board and is a member of the task force of the Cloud Infrastructure Service Providers in Europe (CISPE) Code of Conduct. She regularly speaks at conferences in France and Europe on privacy and security matters.
