Senior Telecommunications Engineer, has more than 20 years of experience in Information Technology and Operations, leading operational transformation projects and launching new businesses in multinationals. Montse has spent the last 7 years building bridges between Start-Ups and Multinationals, working very close to multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, that have high experience in cutting-edge technologies and entrepreneurial skills. Prior to her current position as General Manager of the Consortium Alastria, she has been Digital Challenges Director at Banco Sabadell. She led a specialized team in emerging technologies, who focused on identifying and promoting new business solutions. Montse worked from 2008 to 2016, in France in the Oil & Gas Services sector, managing globally the technology portfolio and the international team of software engineering. Her work with multicultural teams in different countries has allowed her to live, adapt and adopt the cultural richness of several countries in Europe, South America, United States, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, India, Malaysia, and the UAE. She was the COO of an IT and Consulting multinational in South America and the responsible of the Information Technology Services of 4 Olympic Games, Pan American Games, and several World Championships and UN Summit. Montse is a regular contributor to social innovation programs and she is associated professor in universities and business schools. She is the General Manager of Alastria Consortium and the President of the Quantum Blockchain Alliance.
