Minhaj Chowdhury is the CEO and Co-Founder of Drinkwell, a Dhaka and Kolkata-based company that builds, operates and services turnkey water filtration systems for public sector utilities, NGOs, and private entrepreneurs across Bangladesh and India. As a Fulbright Fellow to Bangladesh, he researched villager willingness to pay for clean water with BRAC, the largest NGO in the world. Under Minhaj’s leadership Drinkwell has grown to providing safe water to over 300,000 people while attracting investment from leading impact investors including TPG Growth and the Rise Fund, Echoing Green and Ashoka. His work has been acclaimed by the BBC, US State Department, India Department of Science & Technology, UNICEF as well as the Bangladesh Health Secretary. Minhaj is a 2017 Forbes 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneur and holds a Bachelors in Public Health from Johns Hopkins.
