As a Google User Experience Director, Maggie leads cross-Google Digital Wellbeing efforts that help people get the most out of Google technology (while designing ways to help them not be distracted by it), as featured recently on CNBC. Since joining Google in 2011, Maggie has shaped Google products through designing with empathy through language and creating emotional connections through brand. Maggie has developed company-wide UX and brand principles while working on Android, Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Search (including Health, Shopping, and Travel verticals), Google Store, and more.

She has also held leadership roles at Expedia, Razorfish, MSN, and Nike. With her varied career background and interdisciplinary skills, she applies a humanities approach to designing technology experiences as featured in her interview in Accelerate with Google. She’s an advocate of representing diverse voices in tech, recently delivering the 2018 TechWomen Pitch Day keynote.
