Leonardo Euler de Morais started his career in Anatel in 2006. Since then he has worked as an advisor for the Board of Directors, as head of the Economic Monitoring Management Office and as Chief of the Technical Advisory Office. In 2016 he assumed the mandate of Commissioner. He is also the President of Spectrum and Orbit Committee – CEO, responsible for support the Board of Directors in the exercise of its legal powers in the decision-making regarding the allocation plan, allocation and distribution of radio frequency bands in Brazil. At the end of 2018 he was appointed the new president of Anatel until November, 2021. Mr Euler is the first public servant from the Agency to become the President.
After graduating from University of Brasília (UnB), Mr Euler worked for Eletronorte as an analyst.
Mr Euler graduated in Economical Sciences and holds a master’s degree in economics, both from the University of Brasília (UnB), where he has also taught courses in Economics.
