Jinsook Han is Managing Director of Growth and Strategy for Accenture Applied Intelligence business, a combination of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics. She leads strategy development and investments and acquisitions and is responsible for prioritizing and incubating select strategic capabilities.
Before Accenture, Jinsook was the Senior Vice President (SVP) & Global Head of Business Solutions at AIG. She led digital product management, business architecture and innovation incubation for Commercial business. Her responsibilities included leading the exploration, prioritization, proof of concept and pilot testing of advanced technologies such as AI, blockchain, VR and drones for integration into AIG business. Jinsook also held the role of SVP & Interim COO for Science at AIG. In this role, she led data science and agile application development teams in Commercial underwriting and claims and oversaw the growth of the Science unit. Notably, she helped to drive the launch of drones program leading AIG to become the first commercial insurance to be granted an FAA exemption to operate drones.
Jinsook also worked as the Associate Partner in McKinsey serving clients in both public and private sectors with a focus on professional and financial services, healthcare and technology. She was a leader in McKinsey’s Business Technology Office (Digital) Women’s Initiative and was voted as the mentor of the year by business analysts. Jinsook also led the team that won the 1st Application Idea Challenge contest. Jinsook has also worked in Freddie Mac as Operational Risk Manager. She has started her career in Arthur Andersen.
She earned her accounting degree from Virginia Tech and her MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner.
