Vice President of Technology
Dino Flore is a Vice President of Technology at Qualcomm, where he is currently in charge of Technology & Products for EMEA. Dino joined Qualcomm in July 2003 as member of the Engineering Service Group. From 2005 to 2017 Dino was part of Qualcomm Standards group, where he has covered a number of leadership roles in the area of 3GPP standardization. From March 2013 to April 2017, he served as Chairman of 3GPP RAN, the Technical Specification Group in 3GPP with overall responsibility for the radio interface and access network. Form September 2016 to September 2018 Dino was appointed Director General of the newly formed 5G Automotive Association (5GAA), whose goal is to bridge automotive and telecom industry to develop next generation connected mobility solutions.
Prior to Qualcomm Dino worked from January 2000 to June 2003 at Arraycomm as Senior Research Engineer, developing algorithms and solutions for smart antennas.
Dino received a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy and a M.S. degree in Mobile Communications from the EURECOM Institute, France, in 2000.
