Chihiro Ono is the Executive Director of Data Intelligence Division of KDDI Research.
Since joining KDD in 1994, he has been working on database systems, personalization technologies, social media analysis, behavior analysis and so on. From 1999 to 2000, he was a visiting researcher at Stanford University. He received Ph. D degree of Science for Open and Environmental Systems from Keio University, Japan, in 2009.
He is currently leading projects for customer profiling and behavior analysis utilizing KDDI’s big data for various KDDI-related fields including marketing, customer experience, home, energy, finance, demographic analysis solutions, disaster response. He is a member of Big Data For Social Good of GSMA.
