Azita Arvani is a customer-focused Hi-Tech leader that delivers innovation-led revenue growth. She is recognized for deploying a breadth of skills and latest digital technologies in 5G, AI, IoT, cloud, and AR/VR, to create new markets and revenue streams, develop new products and capabilities, and forge partnerships. She has deep experience with Fortune 500, startups, and investor community. She is an avid evangelist of true digital transformation for telco’s as well as other industries.
Azita is on the Board of Directors of the Tennant Company (NYSE: TNC) with a focus on innovation agenda and serves on the Compensation and Governance Committees.
Azita was recently Head of Innovation Partner & Venture Management at Nokia. She led the company’s leading-edge global team working with hundreds of startups to leverage external innovation to drive growth and optimize internal R&D serving Nokia business groups. The innovations covered technology, process and business model disruptions in domains including 5G, cloud, Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence. Prior to that, she led global partnering and alliances for Nokia Networks with business relations of over half a billion Euros.
Previously, Azita has had progressive senior management roles working in and with established industry leaders as well as disruptive startups and has founded her own company. These roles include: Founder and Principal of Arvani Group, VP of Business Development at ActiveSky, Director of Corporate Business Strategy at Xerox and Chief of Staff of Corporate Research and Technology at Xerox.
She holds an MS in Management from Stanford University (Sloan Fellow), an MS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a BS in Math/Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude) from University of California, Los Angeles.
