The need for accessible healthcare across the globe is eminent, taking different colours in different regions and demographics. In Europe, where the ageing population is projected to reach over 50% of the general population by 2060, accessible healthcare to ageing communities is a pressing priority. In Africa, rural areas suffer from severe lack of qualified healthcare personnel and facilities, translating into limited access to healthcare services in general.
Latest technological advances hold the answer to many of these challenges, however major hurdles still need to be overcome for innovations to be embraced and make a significant impact.
This panel brings together speakers representing different viewpoints across the Healthcare innovation value chain to speak about how different agents are working to make healthcare more accessible to different populations locally and globally.
