KT Integrated Orchestrator Platform is introduced to provision a fully customizable private-LTE service. Since B2B customers demand a wide range of service requirements that are configured manually, provisioning B2B services is time-consuming. With the proliferation of network function virtualization, KT developed the Integrated Orchestrator Platform to deliver a flexible and software-based B2B service based on network slicing. To provide a P-LTE service according to customer requirements, the Integrated Orchestrator Platform deploys appropriate VNFs and automatically configures both physical and virtual network functions. The Integrated Orchestrator Platform chooses optimal location of deployment using distributed data centers and provides agile network service. The prototype of KT Integrated Orchestrator Platform was exhibited and MWC 2018 and successfully used to deploy and operate the 5G trial service during the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. After the trial service, the Integrated Orchestrator Platform started to provision P-LTE service in July 2018.
“This addresses an important new market need by automating support for B2B services which are normally a completely manual process. Employing innovative technologies – NFV, network orchestration, SDN and network slicing – enables an agile and responsive service for business customers.”
