Spectrum Collaboration Challenge (SC2), the latest Grand Challenge sponsored by DARPA, the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is the first-of-its-kind collaborative machine-intelligence competition to overcome scarcity in the radio frequency (RF) spectrum. SC2 aims to ensure that the exponentially growing number of wireless devices can co-exist and operate in the increasingly crowded electromagnetic spectrum. In SC2, competitors reimagine a new, more efficient wireless paradigm in which radio networks autonomously collaborate to dynamically determine how the spectrum should be used moment to moment. The team whose collaborative radio design most reliably achieves successful communication in the presence of other competing radios could win as much as $3,500,000 over the life of the competition!
SC2 is being featured at MWC19 as a Partner Programme. Please join us by applying here to see current qualifying results, preview the finals at MWC LA 2019 and hear from a panel of industry experts regarding the future of 5G and Spectrum Sharing technologies.
