Established in 2016, TROTRO Tractor Limited (TTL) is an agricultural technology company that provides mechanization services to smallholder farmers. TROTRO Tractor has developed a technology-enabled "uber-like" equipment hiring platform that links farmers with tractor operators and other agricultural machinery service providers. With TROTRO’s USSD short code, farmers can request and schedule tractor and agricultural machinery services. Tractor owners uses TROTRO's digital applications and web portal to remotely monitor the efficiency of their machines and earnings. Aggregators can access farmers and produce as well through the data management system built by TROTRO Tractor for access to other upstream farmer services.
