HMS II.3 LN HEC is a HEAD Measurement System with a two-way artificial mouth, anatomically shaped pinnae & a low-noise right ear simulator with a human-like ear canal according to type 4.4 out of ITU-T P.57 (06/2021). The system is ideally suited for precision measurements of close-to-the-ear and in-ear transducers in handsets, headsets, headphones, earphones, hearing protectors & hearing aids.
• Low-noise ear simulator with high sensitivity microphone, low inherent noise floor & a wide dynamic range of 16 dBSPL(A) to 148 dbSPL
• Perform comprehensive measurements of intra-concha & insert devices with anatomically shaped pinnae with a human-like ear canal
• ITU-T P.58-compliant two-way artificial mouth with low distortion & very wide frequency range for super-wideband and fullband applications
• Geometric & acoustic characteristics according to ITU-T P.58
•Retrofit compatible HMS components such pinnae & ear simulators of ITU-T P.57 types 3.3 or 3.4 for other test scenarios
