CAMO.NRW - Center for Automated Mobility Back to Exhibitor Page
CAMO.NRW (Center for Automated Mobility) is an interdisciplinary and user-oriented competence center for automated mobility that supports municipal stakeholders as a central point of contact in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany). Therefore, CAMO.NRW provides services in the fields of information, advisory and further educational services. The center, which is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), is located at the University of Wuppertal. With the Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences the project is supported by another university with a special focus on computer science and engineering. The third partner is Bergische Struktur- und Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft mbH (BSW). As a regional economic development agency the BSW organises regional projects and supports cooperations.
CAMO.NRW’s focus is on preparing municipalities and transport companies, as well as (civil) society, for the change from a society characterised by individual transport to a sustainable use of new automated mobility concepts. The aim is to provide objective information about automated driving and future mobility. By supporting these various stakeholders, CAMO.NRW tries to shape the transformation in a positive way and thereby overcome existing barriers.
