eRoots Analytics is a technological start-up based on offering consultancy services and providing software solutions in the context of modern power systems. The company stems from the research developed at CITCEA (Centre d'Innovació Tecnològica en Convertidors Estàtics i Accionaments) from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and focuses on commercializing the ideas developed there for the last decade. The inclusion of greater shares of renewable energies to the grid poses a challenge to the validity of traditional concepts and calculation methods. eRoots' goal is to be in the avant-garde of tool development to push the transition towards highly sustainable electrical grids.
