Virginia Palacios is the New Business Incubation Director for the HP Personalization and 3D Printing Business, being responsible for the startup scouting and nurturing of new business opportunities for HP 3DP business. This distributed team has members in Barcelona, Vancouver, San Diego and Singapore.
A core member of HP’s 3D Printing & Digital Manufacturing business since its inception, Virginia previously led the System Product Management team for the HP 3D Multi Jet Fusion business being responsible of the Market Opportunity, Product and roadmap definition for the plastics business including SW, services, HW and materials.
She joined HP as an R&D Engineer in the Large Format Business. Since then she has developed a strong leadership trajectory in a variety of global positions both in the Printing, SW and in 3D printing groups across Europe and Asia. Experiences include R&D, Professional Services, Intrapreneurship, Business Development, Sales and Strategic Marketing leading global teams.
Virginia is passionate about customer centric innovation, entrepreneurship, and development of teams, with special focus on women. She has been instrumental in the creation of internal women networks and has been keynote speaker at various conferences and industry panels where she has shared her industry and career experience to coach and inspire other professionals.
Virginia holds a master’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from La Salle University in Barcelona and Advanced Leadership and Innovation degree at Stanford University.
