Uri Tintoré

Speaker Bio

Uri started his career as an Aerospace Engineer at NASA Ames Research Center (California, US) where he focused on designing and launching small satellites. His mentors at NASA founded one of the few startups in the space field that has reached the IPO stage, Planet. That motivated him to start his own company and he decided to pursue an MBA at Stanford. During his master's degree, he founded Capella Space, a small satellite company, with two other students, but abandoned the project to finish his master's degree. After finishing, in 2018 he returned to Spain to lead the fintech Verse, where he met his current partner Pablo Viguera. In 2019 they decided to start their own project, Belvo, with the goal of democratizing access to financial services in Latin America. Uri serves as co-CEO at Belvo together with Pablo Viguera and leads Engineering, Product and Operations.
