Timo Hallantie

Speaker Bio

Timo Hallantie is head of unit at the European Commission since 2014. He is currently in charge for the EIC Pathfinder programme at the European Innovation Council. He has previously held EC positions related to the R&D and innovation policies in ICT area (e.g. ERA, public-private partnerships, international cooperation, SMEs). Prior to joining the European Commission in 1998 he has worked in the Finnish national R&D administration and as a consultant in the private sector. He holds Master's degree in Computer Science (Helsinki University of Technology / Aalto).
