Speaker Bio

Suguru Okuyama started his carrier at NTT DOCOMO, INC. He participated in the 3 GPP RAN WG 4 from 2014 to 2017, where he led the Rel-13 Active Antenna System (AAS) discussion and the Rel-15 5G NR discussions and contributed to the specification. He had participated in O-RAN Alliance mainly WG-4 and WG-5 and contributed to the completion of the Front-haul specification which is the first specification from the O-RAN alliance. He is currently working on NTT DOCOMO's ORAN overseas expansion as Senior manager of ORAN Solution Sales.
