Stig joined Telenor Group in 2017 as SVP for Global Platforms. In 2019 he was appointed as CEO for Telenor Digital, a software company delivering global services bridging digital service providers with telco capabilities to accelerate and nurture digital user behavior. A good example of this is Telenor Digital’s cooperation with Google and Facebook allowing users to manage their subscription where they spend their time.
Prior to Telenor Stig came from Schibsted Media group where he over a decade had several key positions related to digital business and digital development for the newspaper division. His online experience goes back to the late 90’s where he was heading the product development of a Nordic portal and search network for Scandinavia Online, a joint initiative by Schibsted and Telenor.
