Speaker Bio

Rahul Nainani is a social entrepreneur with a background in finance and a passion for policy and circular economy. He holds a degree in Accounting and Finance and has cleared all three levels of the CFA program.

As the Co-founder & CEO of ReCircle, Rahul aims to harness the value inherent in waste and convert discarded items into new products, supporting an ethical circular economy.

Rahul, responsible for the strategy, business development & finance aspects of the company has developed strategic partnerships with leading brands such as Hindustan Unilever, Dabur, UNDP India, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages and Tata Starbucks, to enable them to transition towards a circular economy.

Rahul has received several awards for his work, including the BW Social Impact Leader in Recycling 2022, the Young Achievers Award 2021, and the TSS Social Enterprise of the Year 2021. He has also represented ReCircle on multiple stages including NY Times Climate Conference 2022.
