Oksana Pyzik the Global Engagement Lead & Lecturer in Global Health at the UCL School Pharmacy, Research Department of Practice & Policy. Her research and teaching interests include outbreaks and health emergencies, medicines access and quality, and global health diplomacy. She serves as a Global Health Advisor & sits on the Board of Trustees of the Commonwealth Pharmacists’ Association. Oksana also advises NGOs and start-ups around global health issues such as digital health, access to quality medicines and public health education and training. In 2015, she launched the "Global Citizenship Programme on Outbreaks of Infectious Disease" a multi-disciplinary education initiative at UCL and throughout the ongoing COVID19 pandemic has been a regular contributor in the media with over 200 appearances. In 2020, Oksana was named one of Britain’s Top 35 Women under 35 by Accenture & Management Today for her work in global health. Oksana is also the Founder of UCL Fight the Fakes Alliance, a global campaign aimed at eradicating fake medical products. She is also a UK registered Pharmacist with experience across community pharmacy, academia and in global public health.
